NEW Muffler, part number 1W9519, for a Caterpillar 953 crawler loader. This is the most common 953 muffler ; it is for all LATER 953 series machines...the earliest ones were a different style (see other listing) THIS ONE HAS A SQUARE BASE PLATE with 4 bolt holes. Consult you parts book to make sure. Serial Number Prefix's are 20Z 5Z 63Y 76Y 77Y and maybe more.
**NOTE: not all replacement mufflers are made the same. We have dealt w/ these for years...the pipe/flange at the bottom of the muffler has to be long enough to go through your hood and meet the flex pipe. OURS IS LONG ENOUGH. Be careful when ordering from other suppliers...they are not all made the same. While they may make it right...your machine will be down in the process.
